Guantanamo.- As in the rest of the country, the Yateras Municipality is preparing to develop from September 20th to November 10th the process of accountability of the Delegate to his voters, Inalvis Sollet González Secretary of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, reported to Guantanamo press.
The public official said that in the Yateras mountainous town, they planned the development of 135 assemblies, prior to the beginning of this process. The first meeting was held with presidents of neighborhoods, permanent commissions and municipal directors and the first preparation of the delegates is planned for this Saturday, September 7th.
The same identified the accountability meetings of the Delegate to his voters as one of the most important processes carried out by the People’s Power system, the essence of Cuban socialist democracy, also as an act through which the voters know, evaluate and give opinions through debates that promote solutions themselves on the report of the management and work developed by their representative during a determined period, added Sollet González.
Who also highlighted these spaces as another of the sites where the voters can express their opinion on the management of their delegate, and in which they can present their complains related to existing situations in their community, which are at the same time received and processed according to the corresponding procedure or are resolved with the participation of people.
Finally, Inalvis Sollet González, Secretary of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power in Yateras, pointed out the importance of the participation of everyone in the accountability meeting of the Delegate of his voters, a process that begins on September 20.
