Guantanamo.- Yaneiris Núñez Rodríguez, Daniel Esquijarosa Ceiro, and Nolexys Pérez Matos, all from Guantánamo, have been awarded the “El ReinodeesteMundo” Creation Grant (2026), granted by the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) in the country, as announced on the organization’s Facebook page.

The AHS members in the province, who are employees of the municipal radio station Radio Playita in Imías, Yaneiris Núñez Rodríguez and Nolexys Pérez Matos won the grant for their youth projects: the children’s podcast “Isla Aventura” and the music video “La Yacabera,” respectively.

On the other hand, journalist and filmmaker Daniel Esquijarosa Ceiro proposed the short film “Circles” to be produced with funding from the El Reino de este Mundo Grant, which promotes creative projects by members of this organization of young artistic vanguards.

This year, 2026, in the context of the 40th anniversary of the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS), a total of 17 projects from nine provinces of the country were awarded the El Reino de este Mundo Creation Grant, which is granted during the year to promote young Cuban art.
