Guantanamo.- With the presence of Marileidys Millán Acosta, First Secretary of the Party in Yateras, the Municipal Seminar on Preparation for the Next School Year began this Tuesday, July 15th. This two-day meeting brings together directors of educational institutions, methodologists, specialists, and other key members from across the territory who make up the municipal structure.

In her opening remarks at this important event, the Party top leader emphasized the need to improve the quality of education, highlighting priorities and the essential role of cadres, teachers, and professors in this challenge.

Yaquelín Ramírez Pelier, a member of the municipal Party bureau that serves the sector, also present at this event, urged educators and cadres not to settle for traditional approaches and to explore more dynamic and engaging ways to instill the values of the Revolution, patriotism, honesty, and a sense of social responsibility.

During the preparatory seminar, educators discuss specific topics such as the political and ideological preparation of teaching staff, along with an analysis of methodological work and ongoing professional development, among other key issues to ensure teaching tailored to the times and the students’ needs in this mountainous area.
