Guantanamo.- The towns of La Punta and Limones, belonging to the municipality of Maisí, will receive funding from the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund through the United Nations Small Grants Programme in Cuba.
This support will be allocated to the protection of natural areas through five projects that will begin in 2026. The project called “Conservation and Sustainable Use of Natural Heritage in the Punta de Maisí People’s Council,” seeks to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants.
