The Community Computer and Electronics Club (JCCE, in Spanish) in Guantanamo turns 36 years of being founded, now they work for increasing IT use throughout society that allows the promotion of a computer education in the midst of the new challenges imposed by technological development and in line with the priorities set by the Cuban nation, among them, the banking process.
Yudiel Rodríguez Larrazabal, director of JCCE in the province, mentions the collaboration with the Ministry of Justice so that the population can access the institution’s website and carry out their operations online, as well as on the Tickets platform.
He explained that the JCCE, known as “the computer of the Cuban family,” is also in charge of training the entire population in the use of these platforms and in the bankization campaign that is carried out in the country.
The Community Computer and Electronics Club emerged on September 8, 1987, at the initiative of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, with the aim of contributing to the socialization and computerization of Cuban society.
