Among the main actions planned to be carried out during the next school period in the Guantanamo municipality of Manuel Tames is the participation in the Regional Comparative and Explanatory Study, ERCE 2025, an exercise carried out by the Latin American Laboratory for the Evaluation of the Quality of Learning.
This study will be carried out in the second month of the 2024-2025 academic year, with the participation in the ERCE of third and seventh grade students, who will be given special support.
The creation of the quality group, in charge of carrying out, among other tasks, a diagnosis of each student, is part of the main tasks in the educational sector aimed at achieving favorable results, a task that also requires the support of families.
In addition to participating in the Regional, Comparative and Explanatory Study to verify the quality of the teaching process, educators also have the challenge of implementing the transformations that are part of the improvement process initiated in the sector and articulating strategies to confront attempts at cultural colonization from digital information platforms.
They will also contribute to strengthening political-ideological work, achieving among students a greater knowledge of the history of the country, the thought of José Martí and Fidel Castro, as well as strengthening knowledge of the English language and the adaptations from technical-professional education to respond to the development strategy of the municipality.
