The young journalist Adriel Oscar Hodelín Moya was appointed this week as the new director of the CMKS Radio Station, Trinchera Anti-imperialista ( Anti-imperialist Trench), of Guantanamo, to replace Mabel Pozo Ramírez, the current director of the territory’s radio staff.

Hodelín Moya, who worked as deputy director of the same media outlet, has a degree in Journalism and has management experience accumulated during his stay in other centers such as the Solvisión TV Channel, so now he will be able to take up the leadership of the Guantanamo radio station, a of the cutting-edge institutions in the sector of culture and community communication.

In the presence of representatives of the Government and Party authorities, during the effective date of taking office, it was recognized the sustained work of the outgoing director, Mabel Pozo, who was in the position for 13 years, going through crucial moments for the Cuban and Guantanamo press, a period in which she demonstrated great leadership capacity and cohesion among her workers.

Mabel Pozo will be appointed to other job position, in accordance with the vast experience she has as a leader,professional and journalist, since she has always been active in the labor movement’s work, from traditional platforms and in new digital environments as an active cyber combatant in the Cuban Upper East.
