With the purpose of mobilizing and achieving popular participation for a different Guantanamo and with more development in the economic, political and social order, the social communication campaign “Together we can do more” was presented, which will be carried out during the 2024.
Marisol Tito Tejeda, dean of the Faculty in the province, belonging to the Ñico López Party School, said that the campaign has a challenging nature for students, workers and the people in general; it is about adding something extra to what we do with harmony and responsibility, she said
For her part, Matilde Márquez López, president of the Cuban Association of Social Communicators in the province and member of the governing team, said that the harmonious work between the Party and the Government since the campaign and in line with the country’s strategic lines is the production of food, the recovery of the sugar industry, attention to new economic actors, the quality of services and the fight against crime, corruption and illegalities.
“Together we can do more” has two other collateral slogans “Everything for Guantanamo” and “A better Guantanamo,” which urges that we all be part of this challenging movement in order to leave behind apathy, disinterest and turn setbacks into victory.
