The Rebel Army Commander José Ramón Machado Ventura checked in Guantanamo the status of the fish farm being built in the community Acueducto, in the San Antonio del Sur Municipality.

Accompanied by Yoel Pérez García, the First Secretary of the Party in the province, during the visit to the aforementioned place, Machado Ventura confirmed that the future establishment will have 22 ponds for the breeding of freshwater fish.

In dialogue with workers and managers of the Guantanamo Fishing Enterprise (Pescaguan), Machado Ventura, who is also one of the members of the Cuban Parliament for the Guantanamo Municipality, was also interested in the strategies to guarantee the feeding of the fish and achieve good yields.

Machado Ventura urged the authorities of the San Antonio del Sur Municipality to put all effort in the work, given its impact on the provision of food for the population.
