Guantanamo.- The community of Carrera Larga hosted a day where Culture and Education came together during the annual review meeting of the Educa a tu Hijo (Educate Your Child) Program in the municipality of El Salvador, in Guantanamo Province.
The event not only served to evaluate results but also became a vibrant stage for showcasing local talent, with the special participation of cultural promoters, art instructors, and the amateur artists’ movement.
The gathering, held in a family and community atmosphere, was attended by specialists from the cultural sector, who have played a leading role in the implementation of the program aimed at early childhood.
Cultural promoters and art instructors have been systematically developing workshops in body expression, rhythmic games, storytelling, and art activities that stimulate the holistic development of children who do not attend preschool.
The assembly concluded with special recognition for the art instructors and amateur artists who have voluntarily and wholeheartedly supported the “Educate Your Child” program in Carrera Larga.
Municipal Education and Culture authorities reaffirmed their commitment to continue strengthening this intersectoral alliance, convinced that culture is an irreplaceable pillar in the education of new generations.
