The Association of Film, Radio and Television creators of the Cuban Association of Writers and Artists, UNEAC, calls for the 2024 Caracol Contest, which values the quality and quantity of audiovisual production and is the most important of its kind in the country.
Radio, film or television works released, screened or transmitted in Cuba between September 5, 2022 and May 31, 2024 are admitted, and filmmakers who are or are not members of UNEAC may participate.
The works will be selected by a committee. The chosen works will be finalists of the contest and will be eligible for recognition in the different categories, as well as for collateral awards.
The organizers stressed the importance of submitting the registration forms with all the information of the filmmakers and their work teams, their telephone numbers and personal email addresses.
The decisions of the juries will be final.
The grand prizes will receive a cash incentive along with diplomas and recognitions, which will also be awarded to the rest of the awards.
