Members of the Artesaneando con Yeni and El Patio de Adela socio-cultural projects, together with promoters and amateur artists from the territory enlivened the celebrations for the Children’s Day at the Elpidio Valdés Amusement Park in Guantanamo.
The Ismaelillo playroom in the city was another of the spaces that hosted the cultural program for the occasion with sales of children’s literature from the Guantanamo El mar y la montaña Publishing House, as well as participation games for the entertainment of the little ones present in the institution.
The Carpandilla Circus Company, as a gift to children in its day, performed its most recent show “Concierto Clownplicato” at the Guaso Theater in this city, while the Campanario Theater Company hosted the ensemble of La Barca Company entitled Poemas con niños, based on the homonymous play by Nicolás Guillén.
A significant moment of the day was also in the context of the first issue of the amateur artists festival that takes place in the eastern city these days, the extension of the event to the Pedro Agustín Pérez Children´s Hospital, with cultural representations dedicated in a special way to children admitted to that health institution.
