The CMKS Provincial Radio Station of Guantanamo was declared the Voice of May Day by Juana Eglis Fernández Louit, general secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC, in Spanish), who announced during a live broadcast the call to celebrate a day celebrations for International Workers’ Day.
In her speech, the union leader called the union representatives of the eastern territory to carry out the actions of the labor movement for the important anniversary of the world proletariat day in the information broadcast of Radio Anti-imperialist Trench, as it is also named, which broadcasts a varied programming during the 24 hours a day.
Fernández Louit also called on all Guantanamo residents to parade on May Day in the different squares of the territory, starting at 7 AM, to ratify the firm and unconditional support for the Revolution and Socialism shown by the Cuban people at the polls during the national elections on March 26.][/bg_collapse]
