In the face of reducing the use of cash, the staff of the Community Computer and Electronics Club (JCCE, in Spanish abbreviation), in the Guantanamo Province, socializes knowledge of computer tools and digital media to achieve greater electronic education in people of different ages and the use of payments in this way.

Mario Ernesto Paso López, director of these institutions in the capital municipality, explains that training is provided to people from different population segments, knowledge that promotes the proper use of cell phones, tablets, magnetic cards and payment gateways.

In this training process, older adults are incorporated through work with the Geroclub in institutions and grandparents’ homes, in addition to the groups created in the communities to teach them how to use the different channels.

In this task, the JCCE’s  instructors of Guantanamo offer assistance, advice and installation of applications to access online purchases of products, payment of services and procedures in high demand, as well as taking advantage of the benefits of the Ticket digital platform,  in the midst of the changes implemented by the computerization of society.
