Guantánamo – The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz Canel Bermudez, accompanied by the member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization Roberto Morales Ojeda, evaluated in Guantanamo the results of the province based on its strategy to correct distortions and re-boost the economy.
Yoel Pérez García, first secretary of the PCC in the eastern territory, reports, in the extraordinary plenary session of the political organization, the implementation of actions designed to address the guidelines and requirements derived from the previous visits made by the Central Committee of the PCC to five Guantanamo municipalities during the year 2024.
The extraordinary plenary session is a continuation of those visits initiated in the country, which will extend nationwide to evaluate the visits made to 88 Cuban municipalities during the preceding months.
