Guantanamo.- From a practical standpoint continuing education for twelfth-grade graduates, teacher coverage, and food production, were examined by administrators, educators, and officials from the municipality of Caimanera during the Annual Balance Assembly of the educational sector’s work objectives.
Ibrahim Moragas Pavó, Municipal Director of Education, emphasized the issues that presented the greatest challenges in education and which constitute the priorities for the new phase of work.
Moragas Pavó explained that during the evaluation period, they tackled the most challenging issues, prioritizing primary school students who had not yet met their learning objectives, particularly in first and second grade. To address this challenge, they developed strategies and actions that are being implemented at that level.
He also highlighted the guarantee of basic supplies such as notebooks, pencils, and teaching materials, distributed equitably based on the availability of these resources.
During the meeting, participants discussed on their own initiatives to secure educational supplies and food production and the sector’s involvement in this area.
It was highlighted how agricultural initiatives can be complemented by technical training, preparing young people to face the challenges of the agri-food sector.
