Guantanamo.- Guantánamo educators and students are currently standing in solidarity with the Venezuelan government in the face of the new and dangerous maneuvers by the United States government to destabilize the sovereignty and peace of the Venezuelan people.
This unjust action, contrary to international law, has not gone unnoticed by Guantanamo educators and students, who are raising their voices in protest at special morning meetings and other events.
The unanimous denunciation from the more than 800 educational centers in Guantánamo Province strongly condemns the warmongering actions of the Donald Trump administration, a threat to the entire Latin American and Caribbean region, which has sought since his election to fracture the processes of integration and sovereignty that the peoples have built.
Their position reveals a clear understanding that the aggression against Venezuela is not an isolated incident, but rather another chapter in the doctrine of imperial domination that affects all nations that defend their right to self-determination.
Faced with this grave situation, the Guantanamo educational sector calls on the international community and all peace-loving peoples to categorically reject the United States’ provocations against the sister people of Venezuela.
