Guantanamo.- The Francisco Castro Ceruto Polyclinic hosted the fourth graduation ceremony for Basic Emergency Nursing, where 54 young people received their credentials from municipal authorities and public health officials in the municipality of El Salvador, in Guantanamo Province.

The ceremony, marked by emotion and a strong sense of commitment, recognized the graduates’ hard work and dedication throughout their training.

Sayli Suárez Nicot and Liliana Mustelier González were named the course’s top graduates. Faculty members also recognized instructor Luis Deroncele Casero as the outstanding teacher for his contribution to the students’ education.

During the ceremony, Eudis Ruiz Romero, president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, spoke with the newly qualified healthcare professionals.

In his remarks, he urged them to perform their duties with dedication and emphasized the importance of their work in family doctor-and-nurse offices. He also called on them to prioritize healthcare services provided under the *Plan Turquino* initiative.

With the addition of this graduating class, the municipality now has 94 General Nursing Technicians working in the area. The new professionals will serve communities throughout the region, helping provide primary healthcare to more than 39,000 residents in this municipality of Guantanamo Province.
