The easternmost province of Cuba entered in the final stage of preparing the more than 792 twelfth grade students for the entrance exams to Higher Education in the month of May, corresponding to the 2024-2025 school year.

Yoendri Ramírez Figueroa, head of Pre-University Education in the territory, explained that the educational sector developed intensive preparation through typical exercises for entrance exams from previous courses, watching teleclasses, as well as the individual attention to students with higher difficulty, among other actions.

The principal also commented that to reinforce the students’ knowledge and improve the results of the process compared to previous years, systematic and partial checks stand out in order to identify cognitive errors with emphasis on the subject of Mathematics.

In the Guantanamo Province, the 14 application centers are equipped for the development of the entrance exams. They are distributed one for each territory, and in the case of Guantanamo City, there are 4 authorized centers, Flor Crombet, Enrique Soto, Rubén Batista, the Vocational Complex José Maceo Grajales and the University of Guantanamo.
