Guantanamo.- Yoel Pérez García, the First Secretary of the Party in Guantánamo Province, visited the Argeo Martínez sugar mill and the San Miguel distillery, located near the mill.
Accompanied by professionals from the José Martí University of Sancti Spíritus province, the purpose of the visit was to assess the condition of the mill’s boilers.
Pérez García and the visitors learned how these boilers contribute to the search for clean energy, aiming to boost the province’s economic development amidst Cuba’s current energy crisis.
