Guantanamo.- Graduations at the Alfredo Velázquez Carcassés Professional Dance School in Guantánamo province celebrated the achievements of over thirty students who completed their training in the 2025-2026 academic year.

Among the graduates, fifteen completed sixth grade, eleven finished ninth grade, and eight advanced from the fourth year of secondary school.

The eleventh graduation ceremony honored the 95th birthday of Army General Raúl Castro Ruz and the centennial of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz. During the event, Lauren Riela Rodríguez and Rocío Daniela Velázquez Delgado were acknowledged as the best students from primary and junior high school, respectively, highlighting their exceptional performance at the institution.

Additionally, the Guantánamo Province Art Instructor Training program included 27 students graduate across various specializations, with Miriam Stefani Blanco Cabrales recognized as the most comprehensive graduate in dance.

Four students also graduated from the Artistic Teaching Unit, with Dairon Pérez Betancourt earning accolades for his outstanding achievements.

The ceremony was attended by key figures in the culture sector, including Yoelvys Labañino López and Ury Rodríguez Urgellés, along with family members and members of the local artistic community.
