Nearly two dozen investigations concerning the teaching and learning process of basic secondary school students in Guantanamo are presented at the 3rd International Congress on Secondary Education. which takes place from November 20 to 23, in Havana.

The Guantanamo delegates debate on the gender perspective, bullying, sexuality, the formation of values, as well as the impact of the National Program for the Advancement of Women.

Other topics deal with good practices within the framework of the school network projects associated with UNESCO, the education of adolescents from a flexible, relevant and effective curriculum.

 

During the International event, which will host about 250 delegates from all over the country and guests from Venezuela, Honduras, Panama and Mexico, attendees will address the vocational training of adolescents to guarantee the continuity of studies towards higher secondary education, the use of information and communication technology in the preparation of students, as well as the good practices left by the covid-19 pandemic, a stage in which teaching did not stop.

The Third International Congress, which began this Monday in Havana, advocates for equitable, quality and opportunity inclusive education, the main stage for the 16 Guantanamo delegates to share their experiences with professionals from Cuba and other countries.
