These days, the more than 11,000 educators from the Cuban Upper East are carrying out special meeting sessions and acts of solidarity in the face of Israel’s indiscriminate bombings against the civilian population of Palestine, which to date left more than 5,182 dead.
Raquel Laviste Villafruela, the highest representative of the sector in Guantanamo, told CMKS that in the more than 800 educational facilities, teachers and students continue to reaffirm their solidarity with the Palestinian population, and also demand the immediate cessation of Israel’s aggression.
«It is painful to see so many massacres, the soul is compressed to see how innocent children die, that is why we Guantanamo teachers ask that the fire against Palestine cease now and also that humanitarian aid be allowed to enter to resolve the cause of this conflict ,” the director of the sector highlighted.
