Nine experiences of Basic Secondary teachers will represent Guantanamo in the III International Congress For an Inclusive School, which will take place in Havana from November 20 to 24, research works selected from fifty papers presented in symposiums in the recent provincial session of the event.

During the meeting, organized by the Basic Secondary Department of the Provincial Directorate of Education, more than 80 Guantanamo teachers participated in the presentation of their good practices for improving the educational process, with the aim of guaranteeing equitable and quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.

ICT and the management of innovation in the transformation of education was the theme of the inaugural conference, given by PhD. Yulia Clark Feoktiostova, of the University of Guantanamo, during the program developed in person at the 14 de Junio Special School, in this city, and virtual with the eastern municipalities of the province.

The contribution of teaching advisers and teachers was highlighted by Nelda Castillo Cascaret, head of the Basic Secondary Department, both in the transformations, in which she verified the improvement of the class, as well as in the dissemination and extension of good practices, contributing to the compliance of the proposed quality objectives on the Unesco Agenda 2020-30, in this complex and decisive educational stage of children and adolescents.
