Guantanamo.- The members of the Cuban Historians Association (UNHIC), in Guantanamo Province, linked to the Teaching Unit of the University of Guantanamo, exchanged, at its headquarters, with the evaluators of the National Accreditation Board (JAN) of the Ministry of Higher Education, They demonstrate the close relations of the organization with the Marxism-Leninism and History degree.

At the Manuel García González House of History, the MSC. Vivian Díaz Bardají, president of the UNHIC in the province, presented to the visitors a report on the actions carried out by the local historians in the task of teaching and promoting knowledge, as well as tutoring students’ research work  and pre-professional experience for completing their vocational training.

According to Díaz Bardají, the work of the Teaching Unit of local historians, also includes the joint participation with the University of Guantánamo in publications in specialized magazines as well as the participation in provincial and national events.

For its part, the evaluation commission of the JAN that is visiting all the Teaching Units of the UG, in the Cuban easternmost province, was interested in knowing the number of young people integrated into the UNHIC branch and the guarantee of registration for the Marxism-Leninism and History degree in favor of its sustainability.
