Guantanamo.- A broad program of complementary activities dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz is being held in more than 800 educational centers in the province of Guantánamo.

These activities, integrated into the teaching process, have the fundamental objective of helping new generations delve into the thought and work of the man who was the undisputed leader of the Cuban Revolution.

These initiatives are carried out through meetings in the morning and afternoon sessions, in which students of all teaching levels present research projects, recite poems, and sing songs that evoke the figure of the historic leader.

At the same time, art and literature exhibitions are organized that reflect Fidel’s influence on the national culture, and discussions and debates based on his speeches and reflections are promoted, fostering critical analysis among students.
