More than a thousand twelfth grade Guantanamo students take, starting this Tuesday October 3, the entrance tests to higher education that will begin with the subject of Mathematics, while the Spanish and History tests will be held on the next days 6 and 12, respectively.
Yoendri Ramírez Figueroa, principal of Pre-University Education in the territory, explained that the educational sector developed intensive preparation through typical entrance test exercises, which were combined with teleclasses and 20 hours for the study of each subject.
He also stated that during the vacation period, applicants for university careers developed summer courses, in which the coaches reviewed the most difficult content, among which plane geometry, space, as well as the diverse format stand out.
Ramírez Figueroa also said that work was done based on the individual differences of each student, taking into account the most affected levels of knowledge.
In the territory, 14 application centers were set up for the development of the entrance exams, one for each territory, and in the case of Guantanamo Municipality, it has 4 authorized centers, Flor Crombet, Enrique Soto, Rubén Batista, the José Maceo Vocational Complex Grajales and the University of Guantánamo.
