More than 300 teachers from the province of Guantanamo left for Havana and other western provinces, where they will guarantee the educational teaching process during the next 2024-2025 school year.

The brigade that emerged in December 2002 helps to the quality of education in all teachings in the Cuban capital, Matanzas and Mayabeque.

Damaris Velier Lescaille, a member of the group, said that she works at the Pedagogical School in charge of training teachers in the capital and will be there until she can continue promoting the education to all –she added.

Aylián Súarez Frómeta, a graduate in Foreign Language, said she was proud to represent the province of Guantánamo in the important educational mission and to be part of the brigade supporting the Cuban capital and contributes to the education of children and adolescents.

Oliva Trujillo Castellanos, provincial methodologist, when exchanging with teachers, recognized the young educators from all the municipalities of the territory, who contribute to the preparation of the students regardless of the conditions far from their families.

Madelexis Fernández Rivera, member of the provincial Bureau of the Communist Party, and Raquel Laviste Villafruela, general director of Education in the territory, headed the farewell activity to the teachers bound for the west of the country to raise the country´s general comprehensive culture.
