Guantanamo.- A call to implement new strategies in Guantánamo to minimize dengue cases was one of the topics discussed at a meeting on the vitality of the province’s economic and social affairs, led by the territory’s main political and governmental authorities.

Yoel Pérez García, First Secretary of the Party in the territory, said that the province is in an alert phase, a situation that requires the involvement of all stakeholders and strict epidemiological control to prevent complications.

Furthermore, the meeting also addressed the arrival of new solar panel kits, which will be installed at key locations of the Cuban Telecommunications Company as part of the national strategy to address the energy crisis.

Similarly, the need to find new alternatives to maintain the proper temperature in the refrigerated containers used to store milk for children and priority institutions was discussed.
