For contributions to projects and research, the Guantanamo Information and Management Center (CIGET) group was awarded in 2023, and the aim of this year, is to maintain the excellent results obtained.

For the first time, the entity achieved the AENTA award for contributions to the RINOVA project or Network for the Organization of Scientific and Technological Events of the System, which allowed strengthening the capabilities of the IDICT system to hold meetings that facilitate the socialization of results in these matters.

Likewise, CIGET in the territory stood out for the CITMA Provincial Award that a team of specialists obtained from the study of social perception of risks in fragile ecosystems of the JAGUANÍ basin, as part of the synergy of our institution with the international project Cuencas Verdes.

On the other hand, this group distinguished itself as the best in the country for quality moderating some 480 articles in the Ecured Corporate Encyclopedia, as part of the state commissions, in favor of the management of information for use in different spheres.

Another significant result in the work is the advice to 376 clients regarding industrial property with the purpose of achieving an adequate trademark strategy that makes businesses visible effectively, which had an impact on the application for the registration of 112 distinctive signs.

This work also promotes innovation projects aimed at financing new technologies and the possibility of generating new exportable rubles, in pursuit of the territorial and national economy.
