A helicopter involved in a mission of interest for the Revolutionary Armed Forces, crashed today at the Antonio Maceo Grajales International Airport, in the province of Santiago de Cuba.
According to an information note from the Ministry of the Armed Forces, the three members of the crew died in the incident: Major Dairon González Espinosa, First Lieutenant Carlos Enrique Frómeta Rodríguez and Second Lieutenant Yunier Céspedes Escalona.
At this time, a commission from the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces investigates the causes of the accident.
