Guantanamo.- The facility popularly known as the School of Economics in the city of Guantánamo hosted the opening ceremony for the Social Communication degree program offered via the “course by meeting” modality (a hybrid program combining independent study with periodic in-person sessions).
Attendees included PhD. Ennedys Ramos Montoya, Head of the Executive Training and Professional Development Group at the University of Guantánamo; Oceania Orihuela Bigñott, President of the Provincial Electoral Council; Leandro Alberto Egea Roman, MSc, Department Head; Lourdes Maritza Cordoví Lowell, MSc, Program Head; as well as faculty members and students.
The event served as a call for future communicators to embrace the importance of and their commitment to the field of communication, particularly in the current context.
