On the eve of the May Day celebrations in Cuba, unionists from various sectors of the Guantanamo province, carried out voluntary work in planting cane, in areas of the Victoria de Girón Agricultural Production Cooperative, belonging to the agroindustrial enterprise Argeo Martínez.
The mobilization was led by Yoel Pérez García, top political leader of the Cuban Communist Party, in Guantanamo and Alis Azahares Torreblanca, Governor at the same level, and leaders of the provincial Committee of the Cuban Workers Federation.
