The transformations from the educational projects based on local development, as well as the attention through the curricular design to the Adelanto a la Mujer and Food Sovereignty programs, stand out among the main issues to be discussed during the provincial seminar to prepare for the new school year 2023 -2024, which began on Monday, May 29 until 31st.
The meeting takes place at the 14 de Junio SpecialSschool, a center that welcomes the main principals of schools, heads of departments, methodologists and municipal directors of the different teaching levels.
During the meeting, the educators also reflect on the improvement of the National Education System, as well as the ideological political preparation, the formation of values, the personal example of educators, as well as the application of innovation and science from the teaching of the classes and extracurricular tasks.
On the other hand, the Guantanamo teachers also address preventive work in schools and communities, further study opportunities and the improvement of methodological work in order to improve students’ learning, among other issues that will be priorities for the new school year.
The Provincial Seminary contributes to the preparation of the main cadres and officials of the Provincial structure in the direction of educational work.
