More than six thousand pioneers who are in the first grade in the Guantánamo Province these days show their skills in reading, writing and calculation, during the Reading and Writing Festival.
Like every year, primary education holds this festival in more than 600 schools so that the pioneers can demonstrate what they have learned throughout the academic year, an exercise in which they will overcome an important step in the acquisition of knowledge, in addition to being a recognition in celebrating the April 4, 63rd anniversary of creation of the José Martí Pioneers Organization.
