Despite hurting the steel and cement industries, two big fuel consumers, the shortage of diesel caused by hardened US hostility, Cuba will not stagnate, Economy Minister Alejandro Gil assured the nation in a televised appearance.
In keeping with the circumstantial measures adopted by the highest authorities in the country in the face of the fuel deficit, Guantanamo prioritizes some of the services of hospitals and health care centers that require transport means.
The production of bread, distributed for the basic basket and specialized services, is one of the actions implemented by the Food Enterprise of Guantanamo, as part of the measures adopted by the Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez to face the current energy situation in the country.

The President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and ministers appeared on the Mesa Redonda television program, last night, to report on measures being taken to address the current energy situation.
Yesterday, just as Granma began special coverage of the Presidents television appearance, for our 16,000 followers, Twitter suspended Granma’s account and those of other Cuban media.
