A poem, written to his father on September 17, 1915 by Regino Eladio Boti,  was unveiled in a tribute of the writers of the territory to the most representative figure of Guantanamo poetry, a space organized as part of the 41 homonymous event that takes place until the 8th of June in the Cuban easternmost province.

The 41rd edition of the Regino Eladio Boti Literature and Visual Arts Contest began in Guantanamo, from June 4 to 8th, the contest is dedicated to the Centennial of the Salcines Palace and will promote the exchange between exponents of both manifestations thus becoming a cultural tradition positioned as a notorious national event.
