The historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, exercised his right to vote in the elections held across Cuba on Sunday, 54 years of the victory in the Bay of Pigs, to elect delegates to the Municipal Assemblies of the People's Power.

Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, told the national press that the democratic process carried in the country is held in a very important context following the recent Seventh Summit of the Americas, and pondered the responsibility that the people´s representatives will have to maintain our social project.
