The trades are learned in the course of life, some by necessity, others by tradition and on few occasions we do it to prove that we can do something new, as the young  man Alexander Martínez Rodríguez, from Yateras Municipality who started to made handicrafts only a few months ago.

The young artist Anelí Pupo deserved the main prize of the twentieth Visual Arts Contest José Vázquez Pubillones with the work Flor Nacional, for her successful work in the composition and the way to highlight her creative questions from experimentation in digital photography, an award she received during the closing event on the Cuban Culture Day in Guantanamo.
