On the occasion of commemorating this April 4th, the 62nd anniversaries of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM) and the 61st of the Young Communists Legue (UJC) Emilio Matos Mosqueda, Governor of Guantánamo, send a congratulatory letter to the members of these organizations in the Cuban High East.

“On a date of such connotation and joy for all of Cuba.” The letter states.

The message of congratulation, on behalf of the Provincial Government of People’s Power and all the people of Guantanamo, highlights the many reasons for youth to celebrate the date. “Children and youngsters, who know they are heirs to the best fighting traditions of our people, an attitude and way of being that distinguishes Cubans”.

The message from the highest government authority of the province highlights that “A few pages would not be enough to remember the role of young people in our history and more recently in the battle against the Covid-19 pandemic, and in the permanent confrontation with all the campaigns defamatory and ideological war that is waged against us, and with more force in the media field”.

“Dear pioneers and young people, the times that revolutionary Cuba is living in demand your leadership and strength to continue building the work of the Revolution,” the letter states.

“On behalf of the Provincial Government of People’s Power and the people of Guantanamo we give you the greatest of congratulations.”
