A different morning marked this April 4 at the Águedo Morales Reyna semi-boarding school in the Guantanamo City , where the 62nd anniversaries of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM) and the 61st of the Young Communist League (UJC) were celebrated with many activities.
Some 830 children from first to sixth grade are studying at the school where the party took place, in which infants from the children’s daycare centers of the Sur Isleta and Sur Hospital neighborhoods also participated in the activities on occasion of the 62 years of the foundations of these institutions aimed at early childhood development in addition to transferring to family life the customs and educational hygienic habits of the institution and raising awareness among parents on their role in their children’s education and development.
