The University of Guantanamo held today the graduation of twenty-eight Doctors of Science, from the Doctoral Training School in7 the House of Science and Progress.

Pertaining to centers of production, services and the educational institution itself, the graduates obtained a doctor´s degree in Physical Culture, Pedagogical, Forestry and Veterinary Sciences. They are committed to the comprehensive, systematic, reasonable and sustainable development of the province.

Doctors Inalvis Mengana, Isis Domínguez, Agripina Colás, Guillermo Acosta and Odalis Lorié were recognized for their dedication in training the new professionals.

Others were recognized like Doctor Jesús Rodríguez Cotorruelo for his more than three decades in the training of professionals in the house of higher education and other productive centers in the most productive territory.

The University of Guantanamo is distinguished in the country by the training of professionals of high scientific distinction, having more than 140 to date;

men and women committed to promoting socioeconomic development in response to the Economic and Social Policy Guidelines of the Communist Party of Cuba approved at the Ninth Congress of the PCC.
