The family doctor’s office in Guantanamo, together with other agencies, contribute to the care of more than 92 thousand elderly people in the territory, specifically those with chronic and degenerative diseases.

Cuban President Urges World to Prevent Aggression against Venezuela
Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Thursday called on the international community to prevent an aggression by the United States against Venezuela under the disguise of a humanitarian intervention.
Antonio Becali, president of the Cuban National Sports Institute (INDER) said that Cuban baseball will have to face important and demanding commitments in the tournaments in which it will be participating all along the present year.
More than 376 000 Guantanamo will exercise their right to vote in 1244 polling stations on February 24 to ratify the new constitution, unanimously approved on December 22 by the National Assembly of People’s Power as the result of a broad popular consultation.

Authorities of the Territory Exchange with Guantanamo Artists and Intellectuals
As part of a dialogical work policy Rafael Pérez Fernández, First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party in Guantanamo, and Emilio Matos Mosqueda, President of the Assembly of People's Power in the same instance, exchanged with creators, intellectuals and artists of the territory to evaluate the Cultural Development Program.
