For his outstanding achieviments in contests, participation in dance workshops and festivals in Cuba in 2016, the dancer Julio César Rodríguez Azahares of the company Danza Fragmentada won the Elfriede Mahler Provincial Award, a recognition given by the Council of Performing Arts in this eastern territory.
