Cuban authorities have announced the withdrawal of its aid personnel deployed in Bolivia to assist in different social sectors in response to the acting government smear campaign blaming Cubans of instigating violence in the Andean nation.
“This a very revolutionary, noble, heroic and hardworking people, also very combative,” told to the press the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, at the end of a tour Thursday to different areas of the Teaching General Hospital "Doctor Agostinho Neto", as part of the second working agenda of this government to the province.
The Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Jorge Luis Tapia Fonseca, toured several centers of socio-economic interest in the Cuban easternmost province, as part of the government’s working agenda, led by the President of the Republic Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez that takes place until this Friday in Guantanamo.
At the heroic Caimanera Municipality, a two-day government visit to the Guantanamo Province began on Thursday, headed by Miguel Díaz Canel, President of the Republic of Cuba as well as a delegation of ministers and other leaders.
